Controller Position Available In Miami-Dade, Florida

Controller Center Stage Search LLC. Miami, FL 33124 We’re seeking an experienced Controller to lead all aspects of financial management for our firm. This role oversees accounting operations, financial planning, compliance, reporting, and strategic analysis to support growth and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting, cash flow, budgeting, reporting, and audits. Produce and analyze monthly financial statements; lead budgeting and forecasting processes. Oversee compliance with GAAP and tax regulations; coordinate with external accountants for filings and K-1s. Monitor and reconcile multiple bank accounts; handle wire transfers and 401(k) match data. Maintain vendor and banking relationships; assess financial impacts of new business opportunities and mergers. Improve internal controls, systems, and financial processes; supervise financial reporting and support strategic planning. Present financial insights to leadership and participate in firm-wide meetings and initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum 4 years in a senior financial management role. Experience with professional services billing models, including hourly billing structures, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of time-tracking systems, client invoicing processes, and revenue recognition practices related to hourly and project-based billing
