Job Description

Aeroservicios USA Based in Miami, FL, is an established worldwide provider of high quality new and refurbished GSE. Aeroservicios operates from an 110,000 square foot maintenance facility with an additional 150,000 square feet of outside storage space and employs well-trained, skilled mechanics dedicated to the repair and renovation of equipment. Aeroservicios has extensive relationships with domestic, international, regional, commercial, cargo, and charter airlines, including major ground handling companies and fixed base operators (FBOs). Aeroservicios holds a large inventory of equipment and supplies it through direct sales, lease plans, and short term rentals. Both companies enjoy a solid reputation for providing quality GSE and related maintenance services We are seeking a Controller to oversee the day-to-day operations of our company with 100 employees in Miami and a branch in Central America. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with various areas of the company to ensure accurate and timely monthly closures.

Administrative Position:

Job Duties include but not limited to: Answer phones and greet visitors Coordinate operational details as directed by management Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical Provide A/R and A/P support

Requirements:

Proven experience with QuickBooks and Excel Advanced knowledge in accounting Handling of bank accounts, transfers, and reconciliations GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred Ability to read, interpret, and provide recommendations on contracts 100% proficiency in English and Spanish Additional duties include collaborating with a team of 3 people (Accountant, Accounts Receivable/Invoicing, and Accounts Payable) and reporting directly to the CEO.

3 years minimum.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or 5 – 7 years of related experience (Preferred) Work authorization: United States (Required)
