Do you want to make a difference?? Prestigious Law Firm with multiple locations is seeking aController for their Miami Beach location. This is an integral advisor to the Partner team, the Controllerwill devise and implement proven cost controls, effective billing &collections programs and ensure that decisions are made with fullinformation and awareness of the bottom line. Our Controller mustpossess strong communication skills as well as awareness inbusiness planning.

The Controller will assist in planning andimplementing the accounting, forecasting, and cash managementfunctions of the firm, handle the annual budgets, evaluate thefirm’s practices and analyze cost, budgets, operating policies,trends and increased profit opportunities. Additionally, theController will protect the firm’s financial stability by ensuringthat internal controls are adequate to safeguard assets and thataccounting systems are sufficient to generate accurate and timelyfinancial reporting. Our Controller is responsible for processingthe semi-monthly payrolls for employees and monthly draws forpartners of the firm. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or MBA preferable
• 6 to 8years of applicable work experience
• Work history includes senior level Accounting, Management orController position
• Proven success in billing, bookkeeping, budgeting, financialanalysis, forecasting, payroll, people management and tax systemsin a service-based business
• Significant supervisory experience is ideal Requirements
• Solid communication with colleagues and management
• Understanding and implementation of GAAP standards
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency with financial systems, databases, Microsoft Exceland other related applications
• Leadership ability
• The drive to improve systems and devise cost-saving proposals
