Job Description As the Director of Finance, you will play a critical role in driving the company’s financial planning and analysis strategies, supporting the tracking and achievement of our strategic objectives, and oversight of corporate cash management. You will collaborate with executives and business leaders, provide analytical rigor, and evaluate strategic initiatives to ensure effective decision-making. Additionally, you will lead a team and be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, re-forecasting, and providing insightful performance analysis. Develop and execute financial planning and analysis strategies that align with the company’s strategic objectives. Manage the annual budgeting process, working closely with business unit leaders and accounting to ensure accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives. Create financial models for annual budgeting, frequent intra-year re-forecasting, and long-range planning, incorporating various scenarios, opportunities, and risks. Develop comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making, including new product launches, process improvements, IT investments, and other initiatives. Collaborate with executives to establish a strategic roadmap and growth targets, providing analytical insights and evaluating strategic initiatives. Align strategic initiatives with long-range operational plans by coordinating with business leaders to ensure returns on initiatives track towards the company’s financial objectives. Generate monthly financial reports and lead performance analysis meetings with business leaders to review actuals and discuss future expectations. Provide recommendations and insights to business leaders and executives. Develop internal and external executive reporting documents, including board presentations, management presentations, bank reporting requirements, and other ad hoc financial presentations. Lead the delivery of accurate, timely, and insightful analysis of month-end financials, actual vs. budget, and re-forecasts. Work with the Accounting team on month-end bonus and incentive accruals, refund analysis, revenue recognition, margin analysis, and credit agreement add-backs to ensure accurate financial reporting. Coordinate with business leaders and analytic teams for tracking of business segment performance and company initiatives compared to expectations and near- and mid-term business trends. Identify and drive recommendations for business process changes based on analysis, experience, and industry best practices. Communicate financial information to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, ensuring understanding and alignment. Optimize cash management for working capital and investment needs; forecast 13-week and 52-week business cash flows. Oversight of debt capital requirements, including quarterly and annual compliance requirements. #LI-Hybrid Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 7+ years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, and accounting with a strong track record of driving strategic initiatives. Proven experience leading and managing a team. Excellent financial modeling skills, with the ability to handle highly quantitative, complex analysis. Expert-level proficiency in Excel and creating budgets and financial models. Experience with data analytics & data visualization platforms such as Tableau, ThoughtSpot, MS Power BI, and SAP applications. Effective business communication skills, with the ability to work well with executives, internal and external partners, and influence across various levels of an organization. Outstanding financial modeling skills and comfort working with large data sets and the data analytics team. Experience working closely with an internal Accounting team and a strong understanding of accounting, GL structures, and account mapping. Familiarity with corporate credit agreements, including financial covenant language and other credit compliance. Experience in E-commerce, cruise, or hospitality industries is preferred.
