The Savoy Hotel, Miami Beach We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Financial Controller to lead all financial operations at The Savoy Hotel and provide financial oversight across a growing hospitality portfolio. This role will report to the General Manager and ownership, with full P&L accountability, oversight of budgeting and forecasting, and responsibility for building financial systems to support sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities Full ownership of the P&L, ensuring financial accuracy and performance across all entities Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning for the hotel and affiliated properties Analyze revenue streams, labor costs, and operating expenses to identify opportunities for optimization Oversee AP, AR, GL, payroll, cash flow, and all month-end closing activities Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports and investor-ready presentations Implement and maintain internal controls, SOPs, and audit readiness across the portfolio Collaborate with department heads and ownership on capital projects and ROI assessments Support financial modeling and due diligence for future asset growth and acquisitions Serve as the main liaison to external accountants, financial institutions, and vendors Qualifications 5-7+ years of progressive financial experience, ideally in hospitality or real estate Proven track record managing full P&L and leading budgeting and forecasting processes Strong understanding of hotel operations and financial reporting standards Excellent analytical, modeling, and presentation skills Experience with M3, Opera, or similar hotel accounting systems preferred Proactive, organized, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment
