Who We Are Seeking:

We are seeking an experienced, strategic Financial Controller to design and implement robust accounting practices, ensure compliance, and oversee financial operations for our growing business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting leadership, exceptional analytical and organizational skills, and a proven track record of building scalable financial systems. Experience in the finance industry is required, with international real estate expertise being a plus. This role offers the opportunity to shape the financial infrastructure of the company and drive long-term success. This is a full-time, in-office position based in North Miami Beach, FL with hours of operation from Monday through Friday from 10am – 6pm EST. Responsibilities Oversee and optimize all accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger management, payroll, and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to establish best practices and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards. Complete financial reporting, including the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Manage cash flow planning, treasury functions, and financial risk assessment to ensure liquidity and operational stability. Handle tax filings, audits, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Ensure compliance with tax filings, audits, and regulatory requirements (local, state, and federal), while optimizing tax strategies. Monitor and analyze financial performance (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, KPIs) and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Prepare and present executive-level financial reports, including board presentations, investor updates, and strategic financial summaries. Design and implement scalable financial systems, ERP integrations, and automation tools to streamline accounting processes. Identify and drive process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and operational efficiencies across the finance function. Stay current with evolving accounting standards, industry trends, and regulatory changes, ensuring the company’s financial practices remain compliant and competitive. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate or finance industry. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi, or similar), Microsoft Office applications, and Google Suite. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

CPA license or progress toward CPA licensure is a plus. Familiarity with financial modeling and analysis for real estate transactions. Knowledge of the Revenue Advance industry
