Miami, FL 33134 Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the effective management of financial resources. Duties Manage and oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Prepare and present accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards. Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in regulations. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage to manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. Monitor cash flow and manage working capital to support business operations. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in debits and credits across all accounts. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making. Lead the finance team in achieving departmental goals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred. Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role within a corporate environment. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Yardi) and advanced Excel skills. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements related to financial reporting. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing finance teams is a plus.
