Our Client are
Hiring:
Financial Controller – Fintech | Miami, FL (4-5 days a week in the office) (You must be based in or willing to relocate to the Miami area to be considered.)
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee core accounting functions, including AP, revenue recognition, general ledger, and taxes. Own the month-end and quarter-end close processes-accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Lead and develop the accounting team, fostering growth and operational excellence. Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with policies and procedures. Maintain the company’s accounting system (NetSuite), ensuring data reliability and access to key financial metrics. Support external audits and coordinate with tax advisors for returns. Manage company cash flow to ensure operational liquidity. Assist the Head of Finance with investor communications and strategic planning.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred. 7+ years of accounting experience, ideally with Controller-level responsibility. Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting systems (NetSuite experience preferred). Proven analytical skills and financial acumen. High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Strong Excel skills and the ability to communicate complex financial data clearly. Team player with an entrepreneurial mindset and executive presence.
