JobDetails Responsibilities:

As a Financial Controller, you will beresponsible for: 1. Overseeing the financial operations of thehospitality sector, ensuring compliance with statutory law andfinancial regulations. 2. Developing and maintaining timely andaccurate financial statements and reports appropriate for users andin accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).3. Managing the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuringthe accuracy and completeness of the financial reports. 4.Establishing, implementing, and maintaining robust financialsystems and internal controls to minimize financial risk. 5.Reviewing and improving processes for month-end and year-endfinancial close, driving efficiencies and accuracy. 6. Workingclosely with the hospitality team to ensure accurate and timely EOMaccruals. 7. Providing strategic financial input and leadership ondecision-making issues affecting the organization. 8. Coordinatingaudits and proper filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance withpayment, reporting, and other tax requirements. 9. Managing thebudgeting process and preparing accurate forecasts to ensure thatthe company’s financial commitments are met.

Qualifications:

To besuccessful in this role, you will need: 1. A bachelor’s degree inAccounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree such asa Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or a Certified PublicAccountant (CPA) certification is preferred. 2. A minimum of 5years of experience in a senior-level finance or accountingposition, preferably within the Hospitality sector 3. Experiencewith Big 4 accounting firms is a significant plus. 4. Comprehensiveknowledge and experience with financial systems, internal controls,and month-end close procedures. 5. Proficiency in using financialsoftware and advanced MS Excel skills. 6. Strong understanding ofEOM accruals and accounting principles. 7. Excellent leadership,communication, and interpersonal skills. 8. Ability to analyzefinancial data and prepare financial reports, statements, andprojections. 9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability tomake well-judged decisions. 10.
