Exciting Opportunity for experienced law firm Controller – Work in Dadeland, Skip the Miami Traffic! A busy and growing mid-sized law firm located in Downtown Dadeland is seeking a full-time Controller to join their dynamic administrative team. This on-site position will work directly with the firm’s shareholders and Director of Operations to lead financial planning, budgeting, and data analysis efforts that support the firm’s continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the firm’s annual budgeting process and monitor financial performance against established budgets. Develop financial forecasts and provide strategic planning support. Analyze financial data to identify trends, set measurable goals, and track performance across attorneys, clients, and practice areas. Generate financial insights to guide business decisions and cost management. Oversee payroll and related functions. Prepare accurate financial reports and statements. Develop and refine internal accounting processes to enhance efficiency and compliance. Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold the highest ethical standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of experience in a law firm or legal environment. Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and data analysis. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Highly organized with effective time-management capabilities. Analytical mindset with a talent for problem-solving and critical thinking.
