Controller:
Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue collection, fixed assets, banking services, payroll taxes, and organizational payroll. Directing the preparation of comprehensive annual financial reports and interim reports as required. Designing, selecting, and implementing automated financial information management systems. The Controller oversees financial and compliance reporting, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and journal entries. Administering organizational credit card programs and working with banking institutions to provide services. Interpreting and administering financial policies and signing financial documents in the absence of senior leadership. Leading a team of two in workflow improvements and special projects as needed. Controller:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA required. 4+ years of progressively responsible financial management experience, including financial reporting. Extensive knowledge of governmental accounting principles, US GAAP, and automated financial management systems. Proficiency in cost and managerial accounting, investment, and debt instruments. Strong leadership skills with the ability to plan and assign work to subordinates.
