Full Job Description About Us:

We are a rapidly growing manufacturing company operating across two U.S. facilities, with our corporate headquarters based in Florida. Specializing in high-barrier, engineered packaging solutions, we generate approximately $13 million in annual revenue. As we continue to scale, we are seeking a capable and strategic Controller – U.S. Operations to lead our financial function, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen our operational and fiscal foundation.

Position Summary:

This is a hands-on leadership role with oversight of all accounting and financial functions for our U.S. business. The successful candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with sound business acumen, helping drive financial clarity, operational efficiency, and strategic planning across a multi-site environment. The position reports directly to executive leadership and plays a pivotal role in shaping financial direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and month-end close Deliver timely, accurate financial statements, management reports, variance analyses and KPI’s Managing insurance policies and renewals, including credit insurance. Ensure full compliance with U.S. GAAP and all applicable federal, state, and local tax regulations Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans Establish and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and risk mitigation processes Analyze financial results to identify cost-saving opportunities, support pricing decisions, and improve overall profitability Oversee cash flow management, treasury functions, and banking relationships Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and financial reviews with third-party advisors Collaborate with executive management to support strategic initiatives, capital planning, and operational growth Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing finance and accounting team

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline 3+ years of experience in financial management, ideally in a manufacturing or multi-entity environment Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, multi-state tax compliance, and financial reporting requirements Experience with ERP systems and financial software; strong Excel and data analysis skills Proven leadership skills with the ability to build teams, implement systems, and drive accountability Strategic thinker with high attention to detail, integrity, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and senior leadership
