Job Description
We are seeking a driven and experienced Controller with 5+ years of accounting and leadership experience in the construction, manufacturing, or service-based industries. The ideal candidate will have a background in building and hiring accounting teams, preparing consolidated financials, and a strong understanding of percentage-of-completion accounting. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required; CPA certification and Intacct experience are a plus. This is a fully in-office role.
Responsibilities:
Build and lead a high-performing accounting team, driving growth and efficiency. Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely consolidated financial statements. Apply knowledge of percentage-of-completion accounting to financial operations where applicable. Collaborate with leadership to establish financial strategy and processes. Leverage Intacct (if experienced) for financial reporting and decision-making.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction, manufacturing, or service-based industries. Proven ability to build and manage accounting teams. Expertise in consolidated financial reporting; knowledge of % completion accounting is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA certification a plus. Intacct experience preferred.
