The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This position requires expertise in technical accounting principles, along with proficiency in NetSuite. We also require a strong background in understanding and managing the acquisition, depreciation, and disposal of company fixed-assets. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. Streamline Accounting processes to make our accounting department more efficient. Prepare and review financial statements Conduct general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Manage the preparation of financial reports and provide analysis to senior management for strategic planning. Ensure adherence to accounting regulations and maintain proper documentation for audits. Utilize financial software NetSuite Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive business performance. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Strong understanding of debits and credits, general ledger reconciliation, and technical accounting principles. Proficiency in financial report writing with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly. Experience with balance sheet reconciliation processes is highly desirable. Familiarity with financial software applications in addition to NetSuite, particularly Sage, is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
