JOB SUMMARY

Provides strategic direction inthe finance control function at UDX, specifically administeringindependent and objective assurance and advisory activity. TheAssurance & Advisory (“A&A”) Director will ensure the adequacyof, and compliance with, UDX policies and procedures, applicablelaws and regulations, asset/information security and integrity, aswell as the overall internal control environment. This job involvesleading a team of Managers and Senior Analysts to execute assurance& advisory projects. Additional job responsibilities includemanaging the Comcast financial statement audit process for UDX aswell as any Comcast Global Audit or IP licensoraudits.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct the execution of the UDX Project Plan. Manage theProject Plan and perform any ad-hoc projects as needed. For allprojects, perform second-level review of project planning,fieldwork, and reporting phases. Ensure communication of projectresults with Management and distribute formalized report. Lead thereview of project results with executive leadership. Track the effective remediation of management action plansresulting from A&A or other audit functions. Provide reportingto executive leadership on status ensuring communication of anydelays. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual Travel & Expensereviews. Ensure quarterly reviews are prepared and submitted inaccordance with NBCU policy. Lead the annual risk assessment and UDX Project Plandevelopment – identify, assess, and prioritize risks to selectA&A projects that address determined areas of focus. Direct and supervise the overall UDX assurance & advisoryfunction. Manage team by providing leadership, coaching, mentoring,career development, and performance management. Be the main point of contact for any external or internalaudits, ensuring all necessary documentation and information areprovided promptly and accurately. Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health &Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy,procedures, training, and team member involvement activities. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree is required (Accounting, Finance, BusinessAdministration, or related field). Masters or equivalent is preferred.

EXPERIENCE

10+ years in auditing or accounting, and supervisoryexperience; or equivalent combination of education andexperience.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

CPA License, CIA, CISA, or CISSP required.

ADDITIONALINFORMATION

Critical thinking capabilities, specifically when consideringinternal controls and their application to business processes andrisk assessments. Strong documentation, executive report writing, andpresentation skills. Proficient use of Microsoft Office. Project management. Proficient financial, statistical, and analyticalcapabilities. Ability to turn information into insights. Foundational technical auditing and accounting knowledge. Strong facilitation and consulting skills with the ability tointeract well with others on a direct basis. Current on industry trends.
