We are excited to announce an opening for the position ofa Permanent Hotel Controller in our esteemed organization. Thisrole is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional who ispassionate about the Accounting and Finance industry and is eagerto make a significant impact. The ideal candidate will have a solidfoundation in GAAP, Financials, Monthly Reporting, accounting,finance, Cash Flow, GL, and Annual Budget. This position requires aminimum of 5 years of experience and offers a competitive salaryand benefits package.

Responsibilities:

As a Hotel Controller, youwill be responsible for managing the financial health of our hotel.

Key responsibilities include: 1. Oversee all hotel accounting andfinancial operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and otherapplicable financial regulations. 2. Prepare and analyze monthly,quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights andrecommendations to senior management. 3. Manage cash flow andforecasting, developing strategies to optimize financial resources.4. Oversee the general ledger (GL), ensuring accuracy and integrityin all financial transactions. 5. Develop and manage the annualbudget, working closely with department heads to align financialgoals with operational objectives. 6. Implement and maintaininternal control safeguards to mitigate financial risks. 7.Coordinate with external auditors, providing necessary informationand ensuring that audit processes are completed smoothly. 8. Stayabreast of industry trends and regulatory changes, adaptingfinancial strategies as necessary.

Qualifications:

The idealcandidate for the Permanent Hotel Controller position will have thefollowing qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,Finance, or related field. A CPA or CMA designation is highlydesirable. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financialmanagement role, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.3. Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, andbudgeting. 4. Proven experience in managing cash flow and generalledger. 5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpretcomplex financial data and provide actionable insights. 6.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the abilityto inspire and motivate others. 7. Strong communication skills,with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financialstakeholders. 8. Proficiency in financial software and MicrosoftOffice Suite, particularly Excel. 9. High level of integrity anddependability, with a strong sense of urgency andresults-orientation.
