Assistant Controller 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars West Palm Beach, FL 33401 • Hybrid work Assistant Controller – West Palm Beach A prominent commercial real estate firm located in West Palm Beach is looking for an Assistant Controller to join their team. As the Assistant Controller, you will work within the Commercial Accounting group, and be responsible for overseeing the retail and office portfolios. This opportunity will offer up to $180,000 + a strong bonus, excellent benefits and a 4 days/week schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage accounting processes related to building operations and transactions Analyze the general ledger, financial statements, and prepare adjusting journal entries in accordance with GAAP Provide financial statement analysis to management and partners Partner with senior leadership on cash flow forecasting Review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial workpapers Prepare annual GAAP-based audited financial statements Support budget development and quarterly forecast updates Review bank reconciliations and maintain reporting accuracy Build custom reports using Excel and JD Edwards; assist with system and process improvements Contribute to special projects as needed
Qualifications:
