And as our Controller, you’ll play a crucial role in guiding financial decisions, leading the accounting team, and improving the systems and processes that support company-wide success. We don’t require restoration industry experience—we’re primarily looking for someone with deep accounting expertise, a process-driven mindset, and the leadership ability to develop people and elevate performance. Lead the monthly close process and ensure accurate financial reporting Manage and develop the accounting team Oversee accounting operations including reconciliations, A/R, A/P, and payroll Drive improvements in financial systems, automation, and internal controls Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership Collaborate across departments (Operations, HR, Leadership) to align financials with business priorities Other duties may be assigned What does winning look like? Financials are consistently accurate, timely, and audit/compliance-ready Accounting systems and processes are continuously improved and optimized The accounting team is well-developed, aligned, and high-performing Executive leadership receives clear, actionable financial insights that support strategic growth What skills does it take to win? Deep accounting knowledge (GAAP, reconciliations, audits, reporting) Process-oriented with a passion for system improvement and automation Technologically proficient, ideally with experience implementing accounting tools and AI-based solutions Strong leadership and team development skills Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities High integrity and a strong work ethic Humble learner who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment What about compensation and benefits?
