Dealership Controller Job Description:

PrideStaff Financial is recruiting for a Dealership Controller to join a leading marine manufacturer with multiple locations. The Dealership Controller will bring a fresh perspective, strong leadership, and financial expertise to their growing sales, service, and parts division. The Dealership Controller will bring solid knowledge of GAAP, cost control, and financial analysis to the team and help oversee multiple locations in Florida and North Carolina. The Dealership Controller will need to travel to New Jersey for training for about a week. The ideal Dealership Controller has a Masters Degree or holds a current CPA license, has previous ERP systems experience and has superb analytical and problem-solving skills. The Dealership Controller is a full time, direct hire position in Riviera Beach, FL.

Dealership Controller Duties & Responsibilities:

Oversee All Accounting Operations, Including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, & Payroll Prepare & Analyze Monthly, Quarterly, & Annual Financial Statements Manage Budget Processes & Financial Forecasting Implement & Maintain Internal Controls to Ensure Financial Data Integrity & Compliance With Regulations Coordinate & Lead The Annual Audit Process Ensure Compliance With GAAP, Cost Accounting & Local, State & Federal Regulations Provide Strategic Financial Input & Leadership on Decision-Making Issues Affecting The Organization Manage Banking & Vendor Relationships & Initiate Appropriate Strategies to Enhance Cash Position Develop a Reliable Cash Flow Projection Process & Reporting Mechanism Oversee Financial Systems & Software, Recommending & Implementing Upgrades as Necessary Manage & Develop The Finance & Accounting Team Provide Financial Analyses as Needed, in Particular For Capital Investments, Pricing Decisions, & Contract Negotiations Develop & Implement Finance Operational Strategies, Policies, & Procedures Work Closely With Other Department Heads to Align Financial Objectives With Company Goals Assist With Additional Accounting or Financial Needs as

Directed Dealership Controller Requirements & Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Related Field; MBA or CPA Preferred 5+ Years of Experience in Financial Management Roles in an Auto or Marine Dealership is Highly Preferred Auto or Marine Dealership Experience Required Solid Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Along With Analytical & Problem Solving Skills Advanced Proficiency in MS Excel & Financial Management Software Previous Experience With ERP Systems & Financial Modeling Excellent Leadership & Team Management Abilities Ability to Translate Complex Financial Concepts to Individuals at All Levels in
