We are seeking a Financial Controller I to join the Forecasting Reporting & Analysis (FR&A) Team within the Project Analysis & Reporting (PAR) department. This role is pivotal in providing detailed financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis for the entire NEER renewable asset fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
Monthly Operating Reports:

Prepare and deliver comprehensive monthly operating reports for our investors and lenders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial disclosures. Provide timely and accurate responses to inbound inquiries from our investors and lenders.

Forecast Variance Analysis:

Conduct in-depth variance analysis to evaluate project revenue, tax credits, and general administrative forecasts, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Forecasting:

Develop precise forecasts for revenue, land royalties, G&A (General & Administrative) Expense, and tax credits, supporting strategic business decisions.

Living Pro Forma Support:

Prepare and manage the living pro forma analysis, facilitating robust financial planning and execution.

Annual Operating Budgets:

Prepare annual operating budgets, providing necessary insights during investor and Independent Engineer reviews.

NEER/XPLR P&L
Analytics:

Perform detailed P&L analytics for NEER/XPLR, supporting strategic planning and financial performance reviews. In this role, the Financial Controller I will collaborate closely with other teams within

PAR, NEER

Finance, Business Management, XPLR, FCOE, and Project Valuation to deliver integrated financial solutions that bolster our shared objectives and operational efficiency.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in financial analysis and forecasting, strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in variance analysis, and attention to detail, ensuring precision and reliability in financial reporting. Job Overview Employees in this role are responsible for performing key financial functions for an assigned portfolio of electric generating facilities, including internal and external reporting, budgeting and forecasting, business analytics and certain aspects of the monthly close process and treasury functions. Individuals provide effective, timely and actionable financial information and business analytics on the facilities in their portfolios including monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and analysis on the financial performance of the electric generating facilities, treasury management, as well as ad hoc reporting and analysis as required. Employees in this position apply strong analytical skills to identify and evaluate operational and business issues that impact financial performance and effectively communicate the results to various stakeholders, including business partners in other areas of finance as well as senior management and outside investors. Job Duties & Responsibilities Prepares and analyzes monthly forecasts, including the evaluation of assumptions, to ensure effective, timely, and actionable financial information Prepares timely and accurate internal and external operating reports, and other discrete reporting as required by financing and partnership agreements Develops and maintains complex financial models for financings and partnerships, including due diligence support and pro forma development Provides high-quality analytics and valuable variance commentary on actual and forecasted financial information Prepares ad hoc financial analyses, reports and models as required (scenario/impact analysis on potential transactions and business decisions) Prepares presentations for third-party lenders/investors Participates in special projects such as software implementation initiatives and process improvement/Six Sigma projects Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications Bachelor’s – Accounting / Finance/ Business
