The Vice President of Finance directs the Depositafinancial planning and accounting practices in accordance withgenerally accepted accounting principles. Responsible for ensuringthat financial transactions, policies, and procedures meetsDeposita’s short- and long-term objections and evaluatesperformance against objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and direct the accounting andanalysis, tax, treasury, shared services, and claimsmanagement Develop credibility for the finance group by providing timelyand accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financialtrends to Executive Management Appraise the Deposita financial position and issue periodicreports on the financial stability, liquidity, and growth of thebusiness Protect the Deposita assets through the development andimplementation of sound accounting policies Provide for adequate capital to meet current and futurecorporate needs Analyze studies of general economic, business, and financialconditions and their impact on the organization’s polices andoperations Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decisionmaking issues affecting the organization, i.e., evaluation ofbusiness partnering opportunities, acquisitions and/or mergers, andinvestments Management of Billing, Accounts Payable, Credit, and AccountsReceivable services
QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess one or more of the following: Masters’ degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely relatedfield Attainment or actively pursuing a Certified Public Accountant(CPA) Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a role of increasingresponsibility in accounting and finance Minimum of five (5) years of financial Shared Servicesmanagement experience Demonstrated leadership experience moving varied US andworldwide financial operations into a Shared Services deliverymodel Prior experience in a management/supervisor role, preferably ina corporate finance setting Experience effectively interacting with internal and externalcustomers on financial-related issues Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handleand prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectivelymanage competing deadlines Professional, articulate, and able to use excellent independentjudgment and discretion Outstanding oral and written communication skills required withthe ability to successfully interact at all levels of theorganization
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Internal Auditor (IA) Mergers and Acquisitions experience SAP experience
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Base salary range: $175,000 to $200,000 + annual bonusopportunity Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disabilityinsurance Enrollment in our company’s 401(k)plan, subject to eligibilityrequirements Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personaldays Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hoursbiweekly.
