Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Corporate Controller to lead and manage the accounting functions for a fast-growing, privately held enterprise. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, accounting operations, internal controls, tax compliance, and financial analysis to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with company goals. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, multi-entity consolidation experience, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Oversight:

Manage and oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, A/R, A/P, payroll, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions for multiple entities. Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual closings are completed accurately and timely. Prepare consolidated financial statements across all entities.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

Ensure financial reporting complies with GAAP and company policies. Coordinate year-end audits and manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors. • Oversee tax filings, regulatory compliance, and other financial reporting obligations.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

Assist with the development and management of annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections. Provide financial analysis and insights to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.

Process Improvement & Internal Controls:

Evaluate and improve accounting systems, workflows, and internal controls across entities. Ensure implementation and maintenance of robust financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred). 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a controller or senior accounting management role. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls. Proven experience with multi-entity accounting and consolidations. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and growing environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in diverse industries is a plus. Hands-on experience with financial systems integration and process automation. Prior work with private company compliance, tax planning, and investment accounting.

Competitive salary plus benefits, based on experience.

$120,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
