Corporate Controller Farnsworth & Mullins CPAs Bartow, FL 33831 Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of corporate accounting practices. This role is crucial in managing the company’s accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, payroll, cash management, and general ledger reconciliation. The Corporate Controller will play a key role in driving financial strategy and supporting the organization’s growth objectives. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Manage accounts receivable processes to optimize cash flow and minimize outstanding debts. Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts to guide strategic decision-making. Prepare and analyze budgets, providing insights on variances and financial performance. Conduct general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Supervise payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate compensation for employees. Implement and maintain accounting software systems to enhance efficiency in financial operations. Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights that support business objectives. Ensure effective cash management practices are in place to maintain liquidity. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred. Proven experience in corporate accounting or a similar role with a strong understanding of accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. Strong budgeting and forecasting skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in work output. Strong communication skills for effectively presenting financial information to stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
