Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations and ensure accurate reporting for a long-term contract position. Based in Palatka, Florida, this role requires a meticulous individual with expertise in accounting systems, financial analysis, and compliance. Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct audits and reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial records.
- Lead the budget planning process, providing insights and projections to support decision-making.
- Utilize accounting software systems, such as 3M and Crystal Reports, to streamline financial operations.
- Monitor accruals and ensure timely adjustments to maintain accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance financial workflows and reporting capabilities.
- Prepare detailed financial analyses and reports to support organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies. Requirements
- Proven experience in a Controller role or similar financial leadership position.
- Proficiency in accounting software systems, including 3M, Crystal Reports, and CRM tools.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles.
- Expertise in budgeting, financial planning, and reporting processes.
- Demonstrated ability to perform audits, reconciliations, and accrual adjustments.
- Familiarity with ADP financial services and related systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
