Assistant Controller Position Available In Santa Rosa, Florida

Description Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies. Support budgeting and forecasting processes. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management. Assist with internal and external audits. Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff. Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate financial reporting. Participate in system upgrades and process improvement initiatives. Skills General ledger, Month end, Financial statement, Reconciliation, Financial reporting, Gaap Top Skills Details General ledger,Month end,Financial statement Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred). 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, Sage, or large ERP experience). Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis tools. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
