Position Summary:

The job of the controller is to manage all accounting and administrative functions for the company. This includes managing the staff, process, and data integrity. The controller must also implement proper internal controls to manage financial risk.

Essential Functions:

Supervise all accounting, payroll, and administrative processes and staff; to include Account Payable, Accounts Receivable Royalties, contracts and compliance management Supervise and review all treasury functions Perform year-end audit in conjunction with outside audit firm Work with tax partners to complete federal and state filings Review and manage all cost accounting functions Work with Operations to advise on cost savings/process improvements Perform staff evaluations at 90 days and annually Chair monthly department meetings Meet with purchasing staff on a bi-weekly basis Meet with CFO on weekly basis Review monthly and quarterly royalty reports Review accounts payable checks before submitted for signature Review payroll Prepare monthly financial package for management Oversee the budget process Administer Bank and 401K websites Secure credit cards as required Secure adequate insurance coverage for property and product liability Manage the financial aspects of the 401K Review and sign off on all accounts receivable final demand letters Approve accounts receivable write-offs Review all monthly and quarterly sales tax and payroll tax filings Review inventory cycle counts Supervise preparation for year-end review Prepare various government surveys as required Prepare various analyses for management as required

Experience and Skills:
