Role:
We’re on the lookout for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Controller to join our team in the charming town of Ball Ground, GA. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the monthly and year-end close processes Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, cash receipts, budgeting, and general ledger functions Support variance analysis, fixed asset tracking, and reconciliations Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations Ensure consistent application of accounting methods and procedures Coordinate with external CPA firms during annual financial reviews Assist in preparing quarterly payroll tax returns, W-2s, and 1099s Manage business and medical insurance renewals Participate in the annual workers’ compensation audit alongside the CFO and insurance providers Contribute to achieving all financial and accounting objectives
Qualifications:
