Health insurance Paid time offJob Details A large, diversified agricultural company is seeking awell-organized, detail-oriented Controller to manage accountingfunctions for multiple business entities.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide accurate accounting and financial information to owners andlenders. Oversee all accounting functions and manage a team ofapproximately 4 staff members. Ensure accuracy and productivity inAccounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Cash Flow, Accrual& Cost accounting, and Financial Statements. Implement internalcontrols and maintain systems to verify the integrity of allprocesses and data. Prepare and send information to financialinstitutions and create annual work papers for audits and taxreturns. Collaborate with owners and managers to complete annualbudgets.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of proven accountingexperience at a Controller level with staff managementresponsibilities. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/BusinessAdministration preferred, but relevant work experience isprioritized. CPA preferred but not required. Strong understandingof GAAP accounting and processes. Proficient in Microsoft OfficeSuite and accounting software (preferably FAMOUS). Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills. Ability to meet deadlinesand coordinate multiple tasks. Experience in agriculture with anemphasis on permanent and row crops preferred but not required.
