Job Details Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting operationsincluding Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, InventoryAccounting, and Revenue Recognition. Coordinate and direct thepreparation of the budget and financial forecasts and reportvariances. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting. Researchtechnical accounting issues for compliance. Support month-end andyear-end close process. Ensure quality control over financialtransactions and financial reporting. Manage and comply with local,state, and federal government reporting requirements and taxfilings. Develop and document business processes and accountingpolicies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Additionalcontroller duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degreein Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
Proven working experience as a Controller with 5 years of overallcombined accounting and finance experience. Thorough knowledge ofaccounting principles and procedures. Experience with creatingfinancial statements. Experience with general ledger functions andthe month-end/year-end close process. Excellent accounting softwareuser and administration skills. Experience with Reynolds softwareand ERP implementation is highly desirable. Strong understanding offull cycle accounting and journal entries. Experience withcorporate governance. Proven ability to handle multiple projectssimultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft OfficeSuite or related software. Ability to work independently and aspart of a team. High attention to detail and accuracy.
