We are looking for an experienced finance professional with a background in staffing (preferred). This is an urgent need role and you will receive immediate consideration. Pay Scale :
$150k Annual Salary
Bonus Potential:

Immediate Job Description:
Serves as an internal consultant to the CEO, COO, Board, and other key stakeholders on all financial matters, making recommendations and taking proactive action to keep company on track Handles oversight for and manages all budgets, forecasts, and internal financial plans and processes Drives best financial practices and keeps the senior leadership team, Board, and staff up to date on the economic status and serves as a point of reference for all growth plans and projects Reviews short and long-term goals considering existing and projected financial resources Manages AR/AP, credit analysis, collections process, working capital, risk management, and annual audit process to ensure compliance with all federal and state policies and procedures Monitors cash balances and loan covenants, working as the primary point of contact with lenders and banking institutions related to cash accounts and loan agreements Manages multi-state taxes and regulations Participates in all internal planning regarding company’s proposed program expansion to ensure alignment of the program with financial projections Builds annual priorities and benchmarks and conducts regular reporting, measuring projections against actual performance Generates weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as needed to monitor, evaluate, and optimize cash flow and liquidity Builds relationships with banks, donors, vendors, outside consultants, and others as needed Ensures that the company meets critical regulatory and legal compliance benchmarks Creates a close-knit internal finance team by actively recruiting, training, and developing finance/ payroll staff as needed Contributes to strategic and tactical planning discussions, including evaluating any significant agreements, including customer contracts Manages third parties to which accounting, finance, payroll, or other related functions.
NOTE:
This non-profit organization has an EOR for staff which reduces the responsibilities in payroll, taxes, and other aspects.
Some additional things to consider:
- We are non profit organization
- Tax familiarity for multiple states is needed, but tax work is “light” for this role
- You will have a small team reporting to you, one of the roles reporting to you would be a Controller that would have some shared responsibilities based on your discretion and their current job description. AP/AR would also report to this role.

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CPA strongly preferred
- Experience in the staffing industry
- Great problem solver and ability to understand condition of financials
- Ability to lead through actionable tasks and with a sense of urgency and priority as needed
- Ability to wear many hats within the financial area and open to rolling up sleeves to support the needs of the organization
- Great attention to detail
