The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial management. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in financial software. The Controller will play a crucial role in guiding the company’s financial strategy and supporting decision-making processes. Duties Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Oversee the general ledger reconciliation process to ensure accuracy and completeness. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate records of debits and credits. Prepare detailed financial reports for management review, highlighting key insights and trends. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support strategic initiatives. Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities to ensure optimal financial performance. Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency. Experience Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in finance or accounting. Strong knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software is preferred. Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation, and debits/credits management. Excellent financial acumen with strong analytical skills to interpret complex data effectively. Exceptional written communication skills for clear financial report writing. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
