CONTROLLER
position based out of Griffin, GA .
ABOUT THE JOB
Candidates for this position must have SAGE experience. They mustalso have ACA compliance, 1099, and Insurance file and releaseexperience. Must be able to reconcile. Controllers must have solidcommunication, technology, analytical, and management skills.
Candidates should possess knowledge of all aspects of generallyaccepted accounting principles (GAAP). Public companies alsorequire knowledge of U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)regulations and provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. The roleusually requires at least seven years of relevant experience and abachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Many organizationsprefer candidates who have a master’s degree in businessadministration (MBA) or professional accreditation such ascertified public accountant (CPA), certified management accountant(CMA) or chartered global management accountant (CGMA). Previousexperience in public accounting is highly valued.
