This role reports to the President.

Key Accountabilities:
Budgeting:

Developing and managing the company’s budget.

Financial Analysis:

Oversee the preparation and distribution of timely and accurate financial

Reporting:

Preparing financial reports for decision-making.

Cost Control:

Monitoring and managing performance against financial targets.

Risk Management:

Identifying and mitigating financial risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.

Forecasting and Planning:

Leading the development of financial forecasts to support business planning.

Compliance:

Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Business Strategy:

Providing financial insights to support strategic planning and execution

Duties:

Commitment to ethical conduct and compliance with all financial and business regulations. Oversee financial statements. Provide insightful analysis to support the executive team’s strategic decisions. Prepare reports and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations for business standards. Implement and review internal financial controls to safeguard company assets. Act as a business partner to various departments, providing financial and business regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

Detail-oriented, organized, and mathematically proficient. Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members and department heads. Proficient in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with financial audits Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with full accounting functions. Effective communication skills with all departments and customers. Experience supervising accounting staff. Proficiency in financial and advanced Excel skills.

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree in business administration or finance. (Preferred) Relevant certifications CPA or CMA. (Preferred) Auto or heavy-duty truck industry experience. (Preferred) Proven experience in financial management or accounting. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and management skills. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.

Work Conditions:

Work in indoor conditions with occasional outdoor weather exposure. Some travel will be required as needed to dealership locations throughout the State of Louisiana. The person in this position must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
