KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- + Lead all financial activities on our Baton Rouge Manufacturing site + Collaborate with department heads to ensure budgets align with corporate goals and monitor financial performance against budget targets by developing and executing the annual budgets and financial forecasts + Prepare and managing the plant’s annual budget, forecasting financial performance, and tracking actual performance against budget.
+ Analyze plant costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and recommending cost-reduction measures + Monitor inventory levels, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions, and investigating variances + Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data and compliance with company policies and regulations. + Coordinating and reviewing external and internal audit activities onsite. + Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial performance and efficiency at the site. + Act as a financial advisor to department heads and senior management, providing insights and recommendations on financial strategies, investments, and resource allocation.
