The Finance Director, Marvin Operations will beresponsible for leading a team of professionals whose primary focuswill be to partner with and support the operations team with theultimate goal of delivering on key strategic, operational, andfinancial objectives. In this role, the Finance Director, MarvinOperations will serve as the primary finance business partner tothe Vice President of Operations. This will require providingtimely and relevant support and analysis, acting as a trustedadviser, and adding value by assisting in decision making andstrategy setting. Highlights of your role:
Leadership Lead a financeteam that works in concert with the operations team. Deliverperiodic career development conversations and conduct regular 1:1sessions. Provide regular guidance and direction to the team whileaccepting input, ideas, and information from them. Ensure thefinance team supporting Marvin Operations creates usable budgetsfor the business that facilitate achievement of annual andlong-term goals as well as targeted financial results. OwnershipEnsure adequacy of reporting models and tools to supportoperational objectives. Prepare and outline complex models intosimple terms that others can work with. Analyze trends to reducefinancial risks associated with making investments or spendingdecisions. Offer advice to the Vice President of Finance and VicePresident of Operations regarding operational opportunities. Createalignment across the organization so that we have the systems,tools, and reporting mechanisms in place needed to generate neededreporting and analysis. Accountability Challenge performance basedon past performance, best internal achievements, and improvementprograms to help deliver or exceed the operational and financialcommitments. Perform/review monthly variance review of P&Lresults. Prepare Management presentation material and present formonthly forecast/close meetings, & operational meetings. Provideinsights into all cost components (direct labor, plant overhead,production yields). Recommend and implement techniques to improveproductivity, increase efficiencies, cut costs, take advantage ofopportunities, and maintain best-in-class practices. Other dutiesand special projects as necessary
Compensation:
$174,000
- $230,000annually, plus bonus eligibility!
You’re a good fit if you have (orif you can): Ability to cultivate and build critical relationshipsacross all levels of the operations team and broader enterprise.
Effective verbal and written communication skills Possess strongstrategic and critical thinking skills. Experience supporting anoperations team and leading a finance team in a lean manufacturingenvironment Demonstrated and superior mathematical, analysis, andmodeling skills Experience developing financial reports and KPImetrics. Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability tointeract with various management levels, lead teams andindividuals, as well as the ability to work in cross-functionalteams. Knowledge of analysis and financial software Strong creativeskills to develop new and innovative solutions. Ability to createand deliver unbiased budget expectations for different departments.

Demonstrated leadership experience,with 10 years of experience or equivalent cross-functional projectleadership.
