VP of Finance Position Available In Orleans, Louisiana

Description We are looking for an experienced Vice President of Finance to lead and oversee the financial operations of our organization in New Orleans, Louisiana. This role will be instrumental in driving financial strategy, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and optimizing processes to support business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, forecasting, and corporate accounting, with a proven ability to manage complex financial models and reporting. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the organization’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
• Develop and implement comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead the preparation of monthly forecasts and annual operating plans to align with corporate goals.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements in all accounting functions.
• Manage the full cycle accounting process, including intercompany transactions and corporate accounting activities.
• Drive process improvements to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
• Supervise purchasing activities and establish policies to optimize procurement processes.
• Collaborate with leadership teams to provide actionable financial insights and recommendations.
• Monitor and manage the accounting close process to maintain accuracy and timeliness.
• Utilize financial systems such as Oracle and SAP to streamline reporting and analysis. Requirements
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Proficiency in developing and managing complex financial models.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and corporate accounting practices.
• Hands-on experience with financial systems, including Oracle and SAP.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to collaborate across teams and departments.
• Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting functions and financial reporting.
