Our ideal candidate can be located in Andover, MA, Manchester, NH, or Raleigh, NC. Reporting to the CFO with a dotted line to the CRO, this role is a co-pilot to the CRO and will have a strong operational focus to enable the commercial organization to define and achieve their strategic objectives while ensuring profitable top-line growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong analytical and collaboration skills, and is comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, and Customer Success teams. What you’ll be doing (and doing well!):
Financial Planning & Analysis :
Own commercial FP&A, including the development and implementation of processes to build commercial budgets and build / maintain forecasts for bookings, revenue, pipeline, and contribution margin to support business objectives; includes monthly reporting packages. Sales KPIs /
Dashboards :
Create standardized, cascade-able key performance indicators (KPIs) and/or Dashboards and repeatable review processes (“accountability processes”) to assess past / current / future performance, underlying drivers, early warning signals, and risks & opportunities. Key areas of focus include better bookings / backlog / pipeline metrics. Bidding /
Quoting Review :
Design, implement and co-chair bid review process, particularly a committee to review and scrutinize deals above a certain size threshold to ensure scope accuracy and minimum margin is achieved.
Commercial Synergies & Vertical Market Growth :
identify, model, and drive attainment of commercial synergies across Minuteman-acquired companies, geographies, and identified vertical markets; help drive the attainment of entitlement share across those vertical markets.
Pricing Model :
Help to develop and update pricing models used for quoting projects and service contracts and ensure price performance is well understood and sound. Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
Models :
Develop TCOs to articulate to customers the value of investing in security systems, using cloud services vs. physical servers, etc.
Sales Commissions Management :
Work with accounting to maintain, manage, and forecast sales commissions and Regional Sales Manager bonuses.
Collaboration :
Serve as a liaison between sales, marketing, operations, and finance to ensure alignment on goals, data, and execution.
What we like about you:
8+ years of experience in finance with strong exposure to corporate finance, particularly commercial finance, with exposure to operations, FP&A, and M&A integrations a plus. Undergraduate degree is required, with a preference for a BS / BA in accounting, finance, or a related field. An MBA or CPA is a plus. The candidate must be commercially minded and effective working both strategic and tactical levels. S/he should demonstrate comfort in identifying and analyzing proposed transactions and business plans to advance the company’s goals and strategies, including business partnerships, product and service agreements, and financial support of related sales activities. Excellent oral and written communication skills: the ideal candidate will possess the ability to present his/her ideas in a clear, concise and compelling fashion to senior management. Experience in finance business partnering, influencing cross-functionally, and exposure to working with executive leadership. Continuous improvement mindset; not afraid to challenge existing or conventional thinking / analyses Must be passionate about getting to the root cause business driver of issues – not simply reporting variances but driving to the “why’s”. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Operates with integrity, humility, and transparency. Organized, structured thinker with ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and prioritizing to meet deadlines. Strong proficiency in Excel required; exposure to ConnectWise, Sage Intacct, Workday Adaptive, and/or varied business intelligence tools is preferred but not required.

Pay Transparency Statement The base salary range for this role is $164,500 – $243,200. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above.
