Assistant Controller 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars Bedford, MA • Hybrid work A leading biopharmaceutical firm is looking to hire a new Assistant Controller to their team in Westlake Village, CA or Bedford, MA. They are a leader in therapeutic products/devices that address endocrine diseases, focusing on development and commercialization.
Responsibilities:
Manage the monthly and quarterly financial close process, preparing and reviewing financial statements, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations. Oversee operational accounting including GL activities, revenue recognition, payroll, AP, and costing. Coordinate documentation and testing of internal controls related to SOX compliance. Support ERP implementation. Oversee a team of direct and indirect reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Accounting CPA preferred 10+ years of accounting experience (mix of public accounting and in-house biopharma/biotech/life sciences industry experience)
