Salary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent AssistantController to join our Accounting Finance team. This is a uniqueopportunity to make a significant impact on our company’s financialoperations while working in a fast-paced and exciting environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting,with a focus on GAAP Accounting, and the ability to produceaccurate monthly reports and manage the year-end close process.

Experience in the marketing industry is a definite plus, as isexperience in professional services. Why join us? 401K match ProfitSharing Program Strong PTO and holiday packageMedical/Dental/Vision CPE credits covered Annual bonuses Room forgrowth Job Details As our Permanent Assistant Controller, your keyresponsibilities will include: Overseeing all aspects of financialmanagement, including corporate accounting, regulatory andfinancial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well asthe development of internal control policies and procedures.

Managing and complying with local, state, and federal governmentreporting requirements and tax filings. Coordinating and directingthe preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, andreporting any variances. Preparing and publishing timely monthlyfinancial statements. Coordinating the preparation of regulatoryreporting. Ensuring quality control over financial transactions andfinancial reporting. Managing and coordinating the year-end closeprocess. Researching technical accounting issues for compliance.

Supporting month-end and year-end close process. Developing anddocumenting business processes and accounting policies to maintainand strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications:

To be successfulin this role, you will need: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or Certified PublicAccountant (CPA) or equivalent is preferred. A minimum of 5 yearsof proven accounting experience, ideally as a Controller. Thoroughknowledge of accounting principles and procedures, with a strongemphasis on GAAP Accounting. Experience with creating financialstatements and general ledger functions. Excellent accountingsoftware user and administration skills. Strong analytical skills,with the ability to analyze complex financial data and preparefinancial reports, statements, and projections. The ability to workindependently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.
