Description Job Summary:

The Controller will oversee, direct, and coordinate all accounting operational functions, including preparing financial reports, managing budgets, maintaining internal controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This individual will serve as a key advisor to leadership, providing strategic insights to enhance financial decision-making and drive organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead and manage the company’s financial accounting team and daily accounting operations. + Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. + Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. + Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to leadership. + Oversee budgets and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives. + Ensure compliance with external audit requirements, tax laws, and other financial regulations. + Manage general ledger accounts and reconciliations. + Collaborate cross-functionally to promote financial awareness and operational efficiency across departments. + Support leadership in evaluating and managing risk, including reviewing contracts and operational expenditures.

Requirements Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA designation strongly preferred). + Minimum of [5+] years of accounting experience, with at least [3+] years in a leadership role. + Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and auditing standards. + Proven ability to manage complex financial operations within a fast-paced environment. + Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. + Proficiency in accounting software Deltek Costpoint. + Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.). + Experience in [industry-specific requirements, if applicable].
