Summary The role involves establishing the financial status of the company by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information. This includes closing all account reconciliations and managing staff. Responsibilities

• We help meet operational goals through financial reporting and providing key accounting information, solving problems, supporting audits, identifying trends, and suggesting improvements.

• Maintaining Accounting Controls
• We ensure strong accounting practices through our chart of accounts and clear policies.
• Ensuring Security
• We protect financial security with internal controls for accounts receivable and cash applications.

• We safeguard our value by keeping sensitive information confidential.
• Managing Unclaimed Property
• We track unclaimed property, preparing annual reports and monitoring them monthly to quickly resolve issues.

Requirements Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible accounting experience Minimum of two (2) years of management experience Proven experience as an Assistant Controller, or a similar role Intermediate computer skills with MS Office, accounting software and databases Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
