Job Summary The Director of Project Finance will lead the structuring and execution of financial models, investment analysis, and capital solutions for BaRupOn’s utility-scale energy and infrastructure projects. This leadership role will be instrumental in securing funding for the company’s 450MW power plant and other development initiatives by driving investor confidence, optimizing deal structures, and managing financial risk. Key Responsibilities Build and manage detailed financial models for project-level equity, debt, and blended financing structures Support capital raise strategy with scenario modeling, cash flow forecasting, and ROI analysis Collaborate with the CIO, legal teams, and technical engineers to prepare data rooms, investment decks, and term sheets Lead financial due diligence with investors, lenders, and third-party advisors Structure project financing including PPA-backed revenues, tax equity, mezzanine debt, and federal subsidies (IRA, LPO, etc.) Coordinate with legal counsel on financial documentation, loan agreements, and partnership structures Interface with EPC partners, government agencies, and utilities for financial risk assessments and payment flows Monitor project financing KPIs, compliance benchmarks, and investor reporting deliverables Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field 7-10+ years of experience in infrastructure or energy project finance Proven track record in developing financial models for renewable energy, power plants, or large-scale infrastructure projects Strong understanding of capital stack structures including debt, equity, tax credits, and government guarantees Familiarity with financial instruments such as PPAs, interconnection agreements, and construction financing Advanced Excel modeling skills and experience with PowerPoint, CRM, and investor reporting tools Experience engaging with institutional investors, DFIs, sovereign funds, or energy lenders CFA, CPA, or MBA (preferred) Preferred Skills Experience with U.S. energy financing mechanisms (e.g., IRA tax incentives, DOE loan programs) Knowledge of regulatory frameworks for utility-scale generation and grid integration Ability to communicate complex financial strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Benefits Competitive base salary + performance incentives Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid time off and holidays Equity participation in financed projects
