• Must be live 3 hours or less driving distance from Louisiana, Missouri There will be approximately 15% travel to the Louisiana, MO site and to Salt Lake City, UT approximately once a year

What You’ll Do As a Finance Controller, you will be the primary finance business partner for the Louisiana, Missouri Site. You will be responsible for supporting plant operations, supply and logistics functions. This positions also provides financial support to the Regional Nitrogen Manufacturing management and engineering functions.

Other duties include:

Deliver insightful financial reporting, analysis and guidance to facilitate strategy development and management decisions
Optimize site production mix, identify and communicate risks and opportunities, and maintain a strong internal control framework.
Provide transparency and drive alignment across operations and global manufacturing functions.
Develop singular message for drivers impacting manufacturing result
Participate in the creation of the site operational and capital strategies
Provide comprehensive variance analysis, including identification of gaps, trends and opportunities, and recommendations for possible course corrections necessary to achieve financial target
Drive increased forecast accuracy for plant operations, inventory and capital expenditure
Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Analysis tools
Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecasts including evaluation of site overhead cost allocations

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting or Finance required – CPA or CMA certification desirable
3+ years experience in a finance controller, finance analyst, or similar role required.
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to travel to the Louisiana, MO site approximately 15% of the time (one week every other month) and to Salt Lake City, UT approximately once a year.
SAP experience preferred
Microsoft Suite with advanced proficiency in Excel and BW Analysis functionality, budget/forecasting modeling tools
Self-starter, able to work independently and achieve results through others
Work effectively in a matrix organization
Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
