We’re seeking a Division Controller to oversee all financial operations for one of our key business units, helping drive profitability, compliance, and strategic growth. We’re growing and we need a financial leader who can help us scale.
Responsibilities:
As Division Controller, you’ll serve as a strategic partner to the Division President and operational leaders, overseeing all aspects of financial management, including: Lead month-end close, financial reporting, and budgeting processes for the division Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies Analyze project performance, costs, and margins – and offer actionable insights Partner with project managers to improve forecasting and job costing Manage division-level audits and internal controls Supervise and develop a small accounting/finance team Collaborate with corporate finance on consolidations, cash flow planning, and tax support
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, ideally within construction or project-based industries Huge plus if you have knowledge of job costing, WIP reporting, and revenue recognition (percentage of completion) Proven ability to partner with operational leaders and influence business decisions Strong systems skills
