We are looking for an experienced Part-Time/Fractional Controller to manage and oversee financial operations for a growing organization in Asheville, North Carolina. This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. This is a Long-term, Remote, Contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain financial records across multiple company files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to optimize cash flow and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the bookkeeper to ensure transactional-level accuracy in financial reporting.
- Utilize accounting software systems, such as QuickBooks Online, to streamline financial management and reporting.
- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
- Prepare and analyze budgets to support strategic planning and organizational growth.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reports to stakeholders and leadership.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial policies.

- Proven experience in financial management or as a Controller.
