Your Role:
The Controller will play a critical role in the financialoperations of the company, overseeing all financial reporting,activities, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financialstatements. This position is ideal for a Senior Accountant lookingto step into a Controller role and grow their career beyond. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Statement Close Process:
Assist with monthly,quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, includingreconciliations, journal entries, accruals, deferrals, and reviewof financial reports.

Account Reconciliation:
Review account coding on invoices,journal entries, and other documents for accuracy, making necessarycorrections.

Organizational Knowledge:
Demonstrate an understanding of thecompany’s structure, business operations, and industry.

Complex Accounting Analysis:
Perform complex accounting tasksand analysis using spreadsheets and accounting tools.

Fixed Assets Management:
Oversee the capitalization andmaintenance of fixed asset records.

Departmental Support:
Respond to inquiries and prepare ad hocfinancial reports for other departments.

Audit Preparation:
Prepare audit schedules and respond toinquiries from internal and external auditors.

General Ledger Analysis:
Analyze general ledger to ensureinventory balance sheet accounts are accurate.

Internal Controls:
Ensure internal controls are in place tosupport accurate financial statements and safeguard assets.

Capital Expenditure Analysis:
Assist with capital expenditurepreparation and analysis.

Accounting Policies:
Provide guidance on adherence toaccounting policies and procedures.

Cross-department Collaboration:
Support operations and salesteams involved in subdivision management.

Regulatory Reporting:
Prepare reports required by regulatoryagencies, including sales tax filings.

Audit Participation:
Participate in internal and externalaudits, ensuring financial controls are in place across multiplelocations.

Special Projects:
Contribute accounting expertise to specialprojects as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Experience:
4+ years of accounting experience, ideally inproject or job-costing environments.

Technical Skills:
- Competency in accounting software (Jonas, ProCore, Paycor,Power BI experience a plus).
- Intermediate Excel skills, including tables, pivot tables,lookups, and complex formulas.
- Strong familiarity with GAAP and general accounting procedures

Industry Experience:
Manufacturing and project accountingexperience is preferred.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
