You do this exceptionally well through all mediums Alignment with our Core Focus and our Values As Controller, you will: Work closely with the company’s Leadership Team to facilitate efficient and effective operations of two synergistic businesses Monitor, develop and ensure internal controls, such as separation of duties, are in place to adequately minimize risk to the business Provide supervision, coaching, and development of accounting and administrative department staff Create, maintain, and provide departmental review of quarterly and annual budgets Analyze, apply, and improve policies and procedures to maximize efficiency and accuracy Provide, analyze and present recommendations for various weekly and monthly reporting for the CEO, Leadership Team, and departments as applicable Accurately maintain general ledger and subsidiary systems Oversee the management of all A/P and A/R related activities Oversee the accurate and timely completion of all account reconciliations Ensure accuracy of reports and staff work product through detailed audits/reviews Provide timely and accurate monthly financial reporting to our investor/owner and Leadership Team Act as a liaison to the CPA firm; providing them with information required for preparation of annual tax returns and audited financial statements Ensure that our applicable tax filings are timely and in compliance with regulations Vendor selection and management of financial and administrative vendors such as Business Insurance, Banking, etc… Participate in software and systems implementations and other company wide improvements, as required Ensure accounting Policies and Procedures Manual is kept current What you have: A minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in accounting / finance Bachelor’s degree in either Accounting or Finance Strong attention to detail for data accuracy Highly proficient utilizing QuickBooks Online, Power BI, and the full Microsoft Office Suite including excellent proficiency with Excel Ability to prioritize work and succeed under deadlines Salary Commensurate with experience Benefits include health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, paid time off, 401K with company match
