Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee the financial operations of our clients organization in Franklin, North Carolina. This role requires strong expertise in accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting to ensure the company’s fiscal health and compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent leadership skills and the ability to streamline processes for efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to maintain efficient cash flow management.
- Coordinate and lead the budgeting process, providing detailed forecasts and monitoring expenditure against budgets.
- Supervise internal audits to ensure adherence to company policies and financial guidelines.
- Implement and maintain accounting software systems to optimize financial operations.
- Develop and analyze financial reports using tools like Crystal Reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with management to improve CRM data integration for financial tracking.
- Ensure payroll processes are accurate and compliant, utilizing ADP Financial Services.
- Provide guidance and training to the accounting team to enhance performance and knowledge.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements through detailed financial analysis. Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting and financial management, ideally as a Controller.
- Proficiency in accounting software systems, including 3M and Crystal Reports.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and auditing processes.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and their financial applications.
- Expertise in budgeting processes and financial forecasting.
- Experience with payroll systems, particularly ADP Financial Services.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities to manage teams effectively.
