The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial management principles, technical accounting, and compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations. This role is critical in providing strategic financial insights and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records. Duties Manage all aspects of the company’s accounting functions, including payroll processing, general ledger reconciliation, and financial reporting. Prepare and present accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring timely delivery to stakeholders. Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions. Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to guide financial planning. Ensure adherence to technical accounting standards and provide guidance on complex accounting issues. Continuously improve financial processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy. Experience Proven experience as a Corporate Controller or similar role in finance or accounting. Strong knowledge of payroll systems, QuickBooks, general ledger reconciliation, and financial report writing. In-depth understanding of GAAP principles, SOX compliance, and other relevant financial regulations. Excellent financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex data sets and communicate findings effectively. Demonstrated experience in managing financial concepts, technical accounting issues, and overall financial management.
