Full Job Description Overview:

Hayward Holdings. (NYSE “HAYW”) is the largest manufacturer of residential swimming pool equipment globally, with a significant presence in the commercial pool market that is continuously growing. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward designs, manufactures, and markets a full line of residential and commercial pool and spa equipment, including pumps, filters, heating, cleaners, salt chlorinators, automation, lighting, safety, flow control, and energy solutions at our company-owned facilities in North Carolina, Tennessee, Arizona, Rhode Island, Georgia, Spain, and China. We have distribution facilities in France, Canada, and Arizona. Celebrating 100 years of heritage in 2025, Hayward has been enhancing pool ownership by manufacturing cutting-edge, advanced pool and spa equipment. Hayward listens to our customers’ needs and implements them during the design and manufacturing process. The goal is to become the preferred brand of choice with every residential and commercial swimming pool and spa. We are seeking a high-impact VP of Finance to join our North American leadership team. In this role, you will serve as the lead financial partner to the Commercial organization while working within a Center of Excellence (CoE) operating model that includes Supply Chain Finance, FP&A, Expense Management, and Business Intelligence & Advanced Data Analytics. You will be accountable for the financial performance of the North American segment, driving results through insightful analysis, business partnership, and strategic leadership. This role is ideal for a highly capable finance leader who thrives in a hands-on environment — leading a small team while directly contributing to complex financial work. You will engage directly with commercial leaders, customers, dealers, and distributors to influence decisions that drive profitable growth, market share gains, and strong financial discipline.

Responsibilities:

Lead financial partnership for the North American Commercial business, providing actionable insights and business decision support. Collaborate with centralized CoE teams to ensure alignment and leverage expert resources in FP&A, supply chain finance, expense, and

BI & ADA.

Actively engage in customer negotiations, including pricing, early buy programs, channel incentives, and commercial discussions. Build financial models, tools, and dashboards that inform sales strategies, pricing decisions, and growth programs. Establish financial guardrails to balance risk management with profitable growth opportunities. Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the segment. Operate as both a strategic partner and tactical contributor, directly building and analyzing financial models when necessary. Foster strong cross-functional relationships across Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, and the CoEs.

Qualifications:

Proven experience balancing financial leadership with hands-on execution. Strong commercial finance experience, ideally with direct customer-facing or sales partnership exposure. Demonstrated ability to engage directly with dealers, distributors, and key customers in financial discussions. Strong financial acumen with expertise in financial modeling, pricing analysis, forecasting, and business case development. Experience working in a Center of Excellence (CoE) or shared service model is strongly preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to constructively challenge and collaborate toward mutually beneficial solutions. Highly motivated, growth-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Preferred Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus). Experience in commercial manufacturing, distribution, or channel-based industries is strongly preferred.
